Choice of the postal provider

1. Consult here the list of postal providers authorised by ANCOM.

 

By using the “Filter” option, you can select only the providers from the county you’re interested in.

 

2. Verify if the provider you chose has postal offices (access points where you can submit your postal item) in the respective county.

 

Access the List of fixed access points where personnel is located (where the sender can submit a postal item) fill in with the name of the provider or area you need (county, city/commune or village) select the “Filter” option.

 

You will thus find out the locations where you can go and submit your postal item, as well as the public working hours of the respective provider.

 

3. Check that the provider you want to contact is not in one of the following circumstances:

Access the List of authorised postal providers choose the county from which you are to send the postal item select the “Filter” option select “[…]” to find out further details on the provider you’re interested in.

 

Here you will find all the postal services the provider in question has the right to provide, as well as the date from which that provider has the right to provide them. Furthermore, you will find the identification data of the respective provider: name, address, telephone, fax, e-mail, unique registration code and, if applicable, website.

 

Attention! If a postal provider has the right to provide a certain service it does not necessarily mean that he has the obligation to provide it. In order to verify if the provider you chose actually supplies the required service, access his website or contact him directly.

When choosing a postal service provider, take also into account the following aspects:

  • the quality conditions ensured for the requested service (the delivery times in particular);
  • the rates charged for the services you need;
  • the conditions of acceptance of postal items in the postal network.
