Most of the complaints concerned the cancellation of the porting process and the termination of the services contract for the provisional number. In such situations, users must keep in mind a porting process can be cancelled at least 24 hours before the initially established porting completion date. On the other hand, end-users must carefully read all the details when they sign the contract with the new telephony provider and verify the provisions regarding the provisional number and the waiver of this number when the porting is not carried through.

Detailed information on the porting process is available on portabilitate.ro – a portal developed by ANCOM.
