The status of provider of electronic communications networks and services implies that the persons authorized in this regard assume the obligation to keep ANCOM informed of a series of parameters and statistical data.

Thus, based on the Decision of the President of ANCOM no. 333/2013 on the reporting of statistical data by providers of public electronic communications networks or electronic communications services intended for the public, they are obliged to periodically transmit to ANCOM certain statistical data, in order to prepare reports, studies, analyses in the field of electronic communications, as well as to monitor and control the application of the provisions contained in the normative acts issued by the Authority. At the same time, based on these reports, ANCOM periodically produces and publishes a series of statistical data reports, through which the evolution of the various market segments in the electronic communications sector is monitored.
