Radu Tudorache holds a Bachelor Degree in Management from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. Between 2000 and 2002, having obtained a post-graduate studies diploma from the same higher education institution, he was granted diploma of Master of Business and Administration - MBA – courses of I.N.D.E. - C.N.A.M. Paris.

 

In the period 2003-2005, he specialised in the telecommunications field within a number of prestigious international institutions, and is currently studying for his diploma paper, entitled “Competition in Telecommunications”, as a candidate for a Doctor’s Degree in Economic Sciences.

 

In 2002, Radu Tudorache joined the ANRC team as a Director of the Economic Market Regulation Division. In this position, he coordinates the establishment of the economic market regulation policies and programs, the elaboration of market studies and analyses, as well as the development of regulatory remedies enforced by ANRC with a view to promoting competition in the electronic communications markets.

 

Furthermore, Radu Tudorache supervises the provision of the principles and procedures which should facilitate the rapid and efficient implementation of the access and interconnection agreements, he manages the elaboration of the methodology regarding separate accounting and cost calculation for the regulated activities and services, as well as the achievement of the Universal Service objectives, the mechanism of designation of the universal service providers, and coordinates the costing and the compensation mechanisms.

 

Since 2003, he has been representing Romania and ANRC in the Independent Regulators’ Group (IRG) and in the European Regulators’ Group (ERG), and in 2004 he became a member of the IRG Contact Network, thus coordinating the activity of the ANRC experts in the 12 working groups.
